Gael Garcia Bernal
Yet another Latin actor pulled from the ranks of telenovelas, Bernal started early, occasionally alongside childhood pal Diego Luna. After his early with in the novelas, Bernal headed to London to study stage acting seriously, and he’s been on a serious roll ever since. He hit it big with international audiences when he starred in “Amores Perros”, then kept going with one powerful performance after another: “Y Tu Mama Tambien”, “Babel”, and “The Motorcycle Diaries”. Since coming into the spotlight, he’s proven himself to be an excellent producer and director, even starting his own production company with (who else?) Diego Luna.
