When you say ‘the law’ in Spanish, you’re either talking about the cops or this rock band that’s based in Chile. La Ley prides itself of experimental rock that challenges the listening tastes of its audience. It’s most famous albums are “Uno,” released in 2000 and “Libertad,” released in 2003. “Uno” won a Latin Grammy and “Libertad” is the band’s last recorded album, inspired by the 9/11 bombings, and taking on issues such the state of the world in ‘Esa Es La Verdad’ (This is the Truth), and on achieving peace and an idyllic life in ‘Mundo Ideal’ (Ideal World).
