In 2010, approximately one-fourth of the elementary and high school students and a little over 10 percent of U.S. college students were Latino. Additionally, only a little over half of all Hispanic students graduate from high school in four years. Of those that do, about 14 percent obtain a bachelor’s degree or higher.
