One in five people in the United States is Latino. Improvements in immigration reform include creating a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants that would boost the incomes of all American workers by $618 billion over the next 10 years. Immigration increases the U.S. economy by nearly $38 billion annually. This is because foreigners stimulate capital investment by adding workers to the labor pool, expand the size of the total labor force and balance the native-born workforce in terms of skills and education.
